Last year while reading Walter Isaacson's The Innovators, I was surprised to learn about The Mother of All Demos, a presentation by computing pioneer Douglas Engelbart in 1968. A YouTube video of the presentation is provided below. In the video you can see the heritage of many of the modern technologies and services upon which our industry is built (e.g. personal computer, mouse, document collaboration, peer to peer networking, and more).
